The chance that one of us will be killed by a stupid driver on the streets of anywhere are a multitude higher than by a gang....forty five thousand a year killed on U.S. hyways a year....and not much it being done about that....a person with a dui should be givin a yellow licence plate and one caught with bad driving, like tail gaiting, speeding, reckless driving, and more, should have a red licence plate...a few more times and no license forever....that alone would get most gang members off the streets...

LOL war on gangs? In gang infested neighborhoods the police are just another gang with an official uniform. You'd have to call in the national guard to end gangs and drugs. Unfortunately they are busy at the moment, and even when they weren't nobody cared. (no disrespect to the good police officers, but you know whats up)

Well terrorists are a threat everywhere and anywhere, violence happens too often it is never a big deal. Killing a large amount of people is someone who can be considered a terrorist. if your a gang member and you kill one person your a murderer but your only a terrorist if you kill more then 1 person at a time.

Well a significant percentage of the largest gangs in the USA are also illegal immigrants.
So I guess those are two things that are part of the same problem that politicians like to ignore.

We have laws in my city against gang activity but at the moment enforcement is being held up by an ACLU court action. A liberal organization butting heads with the citizens of a city in favor of gang members.

I could handle this if it was a surprise but it isn't.

So there is where your war on gangs is, tied up in court by the defenders of freedom, the ACLU.

Street gangs tend to be invisible to political leaders & journalists. We aren't frightened by what we DON'T see or read about, therefore there is less pressure to go after the gangs.

I think the description of a terrorist is anyone that would do harm to others, so If streetgangs are hurtful then they are considered terrorists.
