Has anyone wondered why is it that we haven't learned that life isn't a popularity contest? And why do we still look up to charismatic people as a whole without being aprehensive of their Bull S#it?

There's always that part of us the wants to be with the "popular crowd". Right or wrong, it is what it is. But the older I get the more I find myself drawn to the intellectual person who can hold a conversation and introduce me to a different outlook on life. That is more charismatic then anything

Because you'll never get to someone's knowledge if they don't have any charisma. You could be the most knowledgeable guy in the world, but if you're boring and offensive, I'm not going to be around for your words of wisdom.

Charismatic people make others feel comfortable and welcome and happy. Who doesn't want to feel like that? Haughty intellectual snobs aren't always the friendliest people...

In my opinion, having knowledge, applying it & sharing it, is extremtly charismatic in and of itself.
