I'm 10 weeks pregnant and am suffering from horrible hunger pains. I can't seem to eat enough food to get filled up. The hunger pains are so bad that they actually HURT. Has anyone had this problelm too? I'm thinking of trying protein bars to get extra protien...would this work?

The pain is a hunger pain-I recognize it, it's just a little more sever than usual. I had the same thing with my first child, but this time eating doesn't help and it's harder.

Are you sure they are hunger pains and not pains from your uterus expanding?

I was really sick the first trimester of my second pregnancy. I felt like my baby wasn't getting enough because my appetite was so small. My doctor told me to keep taking my prenatals every day and try eating small meals. Thankfully by the second trimester I felt a lot better and could finally eat. My baby is nice and healthy. Just take those vitamins! Good luck

I had that, but not at 10 weeks. I had it at about 6 months. I would find myself stuffing food into my mouth as soon as I could get to it. Waiting at a restaurant for an entree was torture - I wanted to grab stuff off of other peoples' plates.

I never tried protein bars, but they might work if they don't upset your stomach.
