My friend insists on cleaning with a mixture of Bleach and ammonia.
I have always heard that you shouldn't mix them. Is this not true?

These are two cleaning agents that should not be mixed together. They give off a toxic gas. I've known people to do this and pass out from the fumes. It's not safe.

your friend is insane the 2 mixed puts off toxic a gas and can cause many things to happen to you physically one of them is death if you take in to much bleach+ammonia=a nono

Its a very dangerous mix. The fumes can be harmful to the lungs and cause the person to faint or have breathing problems. One or the other should be enough to handle the cleaning job.

You should not mix ammonia and bleach. It creates a deadly gas. The fumes could kill you. Don't do it.

DO NOT MIX THEM TOGETHER. I did this one time to clean my kitchen floor. Lo and behold I got very very sick. I even had ventilation in the room. The toxic gas that they produce are life threatening at the very least.

NEVER DO THAT!!! My friend had to stay in the hospital for several days because she did that.
