Coughing in itself shouldn't have an effect on your pregnancy. Baby is in your uterus just bouncing around safely.

Hi, being sick and that early in your pregnancy must be a little rough. I don't think your cough will affect your baby, unless you get the flu or high fever. Be sure you are getting enough fluids. Dehydration is very bad during pregnancy. And be sure you aren't taking any cough medicine that your doctor didn't approve. There is alcohol in most of them, it could really damage your fetus. I also had a bad cough in the begining..I am now 20 weeks and everything is going fine!

No you will be fine call your doctor and find out what kind of medicine you can take to help ease the cough and your suffering cause I know it can be a pain.

it should not effect anything with your pregnancy, try some chloraseptic spray or some throat lozenges to help with the cough and check with your doctor about medications to take, but other wise things should be fine

Absolutely not. All pregnant women experience some virus or another during pregnancy. You're fine :)

nope!! But i do advise that you get some throat lozanges. My doctor told me that Halls are safe. Drink lots of water and get a humidifer to keep the air moist.
