just wondering...if it's possible to feel your cervix changing? are there cramps, aches and sharp pains? What do you guys think?

The cervix has very few nerve endings but cramping can be felt. There may be a dull ache as the weight of baby thins it out.

Well in the last month of pregnancy it is very common for women to feel very crampy.. Like period cramps.. I was told that this is the cervix changing and getting ready for birth.. The sharp pains i was told is the babys head descending further into the pelvis. Hope this info helps. Good luck! Xx

When you are in labor, those excrusiating pains are your cervix being pressed upon by your baby's head. Dilation is painless, until that big headed baby starts pressing against it.

Sometimes there are sharp pains or cramping, but not always.

i honestly could tell that i was having cervical changes, i knew what a good contraction was and i knew when my baby "dropped" into the birth canal, but i did not feel any cervical changes

Its made of tissue and blood vessels, so absolutely. And you may also have some spotting.
