~~ I can only give you a tourist perspective of them.
Personally, of the two I would choose Des Moines to live in.

~~ State capitals always have better schools, transportation systems, cultural events and attractions.
You will find employment there also.

~~ Have a look at the city's website for a wide range of information on the city (including employment):
http://www.dmgov.org/

~~ Check the Des Moines newspaper for real estate listings, (both homes and apartments).
This is the Des Moines Register's link:

~~ These two cities are not all that far apart so I cannot see that there would be much of a difference in the climate.
This is Wikipedia's article on Iowa's climate:

~~ But if you prefer a smaller town atmosphere in which to raise a family maybe you should choose Cedar Falls.
Though it has a population of some 37,000 people, it is small compared to Des Moines.
Here is the link to Cedar Fall's website:

Ive been to DesMoines and found the people friendly, services were ample and the weather bearable. My sister lived there for years. (rosecairn@aol.com.) Give her a shout.

they did it to make a assertion, no longer very virtually the conflict, yet that the faculty could no longer limit their loose speech. they had to get suspended over the armband so as that they could take the faculty district to courtroom. there ought to be a contravention of a rule to undertaking it. the only opposite direction could be to place tension on the faculty district to alter its coverage yet possibly they did no longer have the political clout or have been advised it wasn't going to ensue.
