I'm brand new to blogs, and would like to start one--or do I want to start a live journal? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated--I'm a little lost & confused!

Basically, the only real difference are the minute technical features and the "Brand" name so to speak. Blogger is run by Google, MSN Spaces is run by Mircrosoft... etc. LiveJournal (LJ) has been around for a while, but I personally use Blogger, I like its features and it ties to my Google account. All in all they are basically the same, just vary in layout or small editing features. Any one you pick should be fine, just take a look at a few blogs posted on each and see if one has a good layout you like and see if the community looks nice. Good luck.

Also Blogspot is blogger.

Some well known blog sites are listed below.
