What to do if your ipod gets wet and the screen freezes? My friend dropped hers in the snow and it was there for 3 days. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks<3

If it was just snow, it might be okay once it dries out. I'd give it some time in a dry area. Maybe tip it upright or even updise-down, so moisture can leak out, and prop it on a towel for a few days. Snow is just water, and some electronics can recover from dampness, as long as it's not something like salt water or soda pop. I dropped a Palm pilot in a glass of water and it dried out and works fine now.

By the way, they now put an indicator inside electronics. It's a small paper spot embedded with a chemical that permanently changes color if it gets wet. So if the ipod has those, they will know it got wet if you send it in for warranty servicing.

Usually, if I were her, I'd take it to the ITunes store and say it froze and ask if I could replace it. It's that easy...I think
