Found it. It's just west of the mountains, at 37o37'41.18" N, 116o50'54.5" W. Definately not irrigation.

May just be "art." Whatever it is, it's big - 3/4 mile on a side.

edit - seems to be bomb targets?

Those are irrigation circles.Pipes with sprinklers on them carry water to the crops.
