definately for the tv. i hate watching it, and it interferes with one of my favorite tv shows, house. they would have played house yesterday, but they decided to play an hour long american idol instead. i really think that it is really bad for the tv industry.

Probably is For The Music Professionals Out there But Not for Music Over all.
I find it quite exciting to see New Talent Up and Rise The Way That Kelly and Carrie Have.

I pay attention you!! i think of it became while they took song out of the college curriculum. a number of those making a song shows make me unwell. Yeah those little ones can sing, yet they at the instant are not likely to make any money via fact few of them is customary with of the thank you to place in writing song or play an device. it rather is the place the money is. Whitney Houston had a appropriate voice, however the author of i visit continually Love you, Dolly Parton is making financial enterprise!! no longer something solid has come out of the song marketplace via fact that 2000. that is unhappy. My radio station is one that performs each and all of the hits from the 60's with the aid of the ninety's. And the Grammy's are a shaggy dog tale. I on no account even heard of a few group that gained one. that is unhappy. This era has no longer something to sing approximately. they are complacent chuckleheads!!

Why is everybody so down on American Idol? These people have a real passion for music and in the end , it results in good singers. What is so wrong with that?Carrie Underwood---very talented. If it wasn't for American Idol she would still be a nobody---GOOD FOR HER and good for the next talented singer that comes out of American Idol..............

There are too many artists out there that don't have that much talent, just a pretty face. At least in Idol, the only way you're going to make it, is if you can sing. Nothing else.

no, not the worst thing...I agree with Chris - it shows you that you can't just get by with looks, you really have to have singing talent. There are some well known people out there who are already making huge bucks and they have horrid voices, or they just have very little versatility in style or their approach to a song...they only thing they offer is a hot bod and killer good-looking face. Listen to some of them "live" and you'll see so many of them can't even stay in key...they go too sharp or flat...they get famous and then get lazy with their voices ...it's just god-awful!!!

No, it's an interesting reality show that helps people who would never make it in the music biz become famous. But some of the contestants this year aren't very good.
