i have a 89 ford probe .i want to know what ignition pulase mean?

my car wont start when its get warm .but cold its start every time.will that make it run rough

Ford Probes were notorious for distributor failures if I recall correctly. That would certainly cause the car to run rough and/or not start. Hope this helps.

when you run a diagnostic on it & it say,s no distributor referance pulse.......it mean,s your ignition isnt working...................yes...this can make it run rough.........check distributor cap,rotor,coil,etc. for crack,s.......when cold they contract........but when hot they expand to the point of failure.
