She can, she won't ever be able to get child support from him for at least 6 years to beat the statute of limitations. A lady tried to get child support from a 17 year old but they did the math and figured out that he was 15 when she got pregnant and she was 19. She did go to jail. She should probably deny paternity to avoid jail.

All depends on where you live, in most places the legal age is 16, so if you live in a place where the legal age is 16 she is not going to jail. But if you live somewhere that has a legal age older than 16 it is possible she could go to jail, but more than likely only if he decides to persue the matter and get her charged with something such as indecent dealing with a minor.

it depends on the situation if the parents of the 16 year old has no problem with it then i cant see her going to jail. for a person to go to jail someone has to press charges if there is no-one to press charges then she has nothing to worry about. Good Luck

It's statutory rape. She is only gonna get in trouble if he pursues it, but there is proof now thta theres a baby involved who was concieved while the boyfreind was underage. As long as the babys dad doesnt report it, she shouldn't get in trouble. If she's that worreid she can wait til the statute of limitations for statutory rape is passed, before she tells who the father is.
