a hypnotist came to school and i volunteered. he had me look into his eyes as he told me to relax. when i did, i noticed his eyes were really sparkly and that i couldn't look away, even though i tried to. it was really weird. then he put me to sleep. anyone else ever do this?

i was told i danced like a few celebrities, forgot my name, and did some sort of strip tease dance. it was weird, since i dont remember any of this. all i remember is looking into his eyes and falling asleep.

no never has happened to me- but there are many ways and forms of hypnotizing' most people donot realize it even after 'coming to'-wakening-the mind is the most powerful tool- and can be unlocked if given the proper codes or locked up" in the same manner- You need to be very careful when approaching activities like the one you spoke of- there are enough outside influences that disrupt or changes our thought pattern as it is- Be careful and dont volunteer next time intil you know and understand what is going to go on and all of the possible situation outcomes-effects-!!

No, not hypnosis. But one time, I went into a real live trance during a guided meditation. I conversed, and I remembered the whole thing. The experience was like being in a dream state. It was awesome. I really want to do that again. I had no aftereffects, by the way, as someone mentioned. But again, it wasn't hypnosis. The experience I had was like seeing deeply into myself. It very fulfilling.

well its sounds like you were funny . in time you will remember more of what all you did. dont worry about this at all . they cant make you do something you would not do when you were awake and i am sure that you didnt reviel any deep dark secrets about yourself.
i have not been hypnotized but i have seen some really funny shows . i am sure anyone who saw you on stage knows that was all just plain funny and who knows you might have been a good dancer.

I have and a guy came to my school too. His name was Doctor Wand. He made us do all kinds of things. Once he told us that there was something growing on the end of our finger and we had to try to get it off. Then we did an American Idol skit and I picked to be Gretchen Wilson for some odd reason. Very cool experience.

Never hypnotized professionally.

One time, years ago, I was an attendant nurse at a mental hospital. ( Long time ago. We don't have these hospitals any more.)

Anyway, we had a large reel to reel tape player. The head nurse wanted to play some music for the patients in the back ward. She asked me to go back there, and watch the tape recorder.
So, I watched it go round and round and round and....

They had to come back there and get me when the tape had finished.

I definitely believe you because something similar has happened to me too. Most hypnotists are fake but some are for real

I have. I was not able to be hypnotized. People who are very OPEN can be hypnotized. When he looked deep into my eyes, he said, "Please go back to your seat".

P.S. What did he make you do?
