I have been playing a game called Runescape online for some years now and I was having some problems on my computer from a virus. I got my computers memory wiped but now when I try to play Runescape again an error message from Microsoft comes up saying there has been an error. It gives me 2 options; 1 is send error report the other is don't send. I hit send error report but nothing happens and I also tried don't send. Either way the game closes and I can't play it anymore.

My question is if there is anyway to fix it so I can play this game again.

Thanks for any help.

If you are using IE7, uninstall and either reinstall using these instructions, http://tinyurl.com/udsgp , or stick with IE6. IE6 can't be uninstalled. Better yet, download and install Firefox 2, http://tinyurl.com/w22sw , no headaches, it works and its free.

Make it a great day

Try doing a system scan that will replace any system files that have been altered. Go to Start -> Run -> Type sfc /scannow
Press Enter.
This will ask for you xp cd if any files need to be replaced.

You can also try another browser. Firefox is a lot safer than IE.

If it's the IE version 7, get used to it.

Once I downloaded version 7, I've had so many problems with yahoo games it's not even funny.

I hate IE version 7.
