Could we function in a world with no more lies?

Lies...it's what controls our world. We won't be anywhere without them. If people told the truth to each other then everyone will hate each other. Because if someone thinks that someone else is ugly and that person finds out because that other someone told the truth, they would hate each other.

It would be like a telepathic society and Yes I think it could work.. No being able to lie would not cause the world to stop just change the way people would commit crimes against each other.. we could adapt..
