it seems like you need something like limewire to download music but you still have to put in a credit card number and pay monthly fees. i'm trying to find something where I don't have to do that. Any Answers?

No you do not have to use a credit card for limewire just download the basic version. I have it and i never pay. (on this link click the basic versionso it is free)

I am sure this is not what you wanted to hear, but it is illegal to download music for free. Sorry. I would not use Limewire for downloading, because it has caused me more trouble than it is worth. You can buy prepaid cards at like Wal-Mart for itunes and such. Check this out and don't get into trouble downloading illegally.
