You see it all the time in moives....but I have never seen anything weird in real life. Maybe you have.....

It wasn't weird, just a natural phenomena. But once when we were coming in to land at Sydney, I looked out and there were masses of clouds. As we descended, there were all these clouds flying past the window. One moment right up close. The nexr moment, miles away. And because it was early morning, you had the shadow of the plane hitting the clouds, getting bigger and smaller. It was far out. Also, once, when I was flying to Nepal, I saw Mount Everest out the window. Just as well. I never saw it from the ground.
Oh yeah, just remembered. When I was about five we went to Perth. On the way back, I looked out and saw the propellor just slow down and stop. I asked my mother why that was, the next thing we were headed back to the airport. Probably just as well.
Also, one time I flew from Santiago in Chile, to Argentina. We went straight over the Andes, and they looked like they were only metres away. Man! They got villages right on top of those mountains!

I've never seen anything, but when I was a teenager, my father was on a work plane over Nevada and said, after a glance out his window, that he saw a thin "plane" that hovered next to them for a while, then just took off as fast as fast can be. He said it was unbelieveable, and he's very skeptical when it comes to matters like that. He's told everyone that story.

Flying into Taipei, Taiwan. There were antiaircraft cannons on the side of the runway. Evidentily China was threatening to take over Taiwan. This was about 5 years ago. I got on the next flight out of the country. Nothing happened but it was scary.

It was a small Dash-8 Plane. Only seats about 20, i looked out the window and saw duct tape on the wing holding a flap down. I'm not joking, i nearly sh*t my drawers.

An older gentleman next to me pointed this out on a trip from Chicago to Florida. If you know where to look, you can see the black line of Sherman's march to the sea....over 100 years later, you can still see the black line of dead trees. It's not as visible now as it was, I'm glad he pointed out that historic information.
