If it is 50/50 in my mind and I have no way to decide, I pick the very next number I see (be it a phone number or a license plate) and add all the digits together.. I keep doing that until I have a number between 1 and 10.
i.e. 8675309 = 48 4+8 = 12, 1+2 =3 = negative..
so if I wanted to know whether to have one more drink of call a cab, 8675309 would tell me to go home.

Write down the positives and negatives and sleep on it and do not rush your answer or let other push you into some thing with out thinking it through from all angles

I Follow my instincs....I like to make my own decisions, myself .. then i won't have to blame anybody or anything..
And also, I picture and make a plan B (in case plan A fails). It works, at least for me ...
