Jerry Rice
He wasn't the fastest receiver, but he was fast enough. Rice could do it all catch well, run precise routes, and get away from defenders. He was selected to the probowl 13 times. As a rookie he had a 10-catch 241 yard game against the LA Rams in 1985.
To get an idea of how massive his 22,895 receiving yards are, if Rice had not gained any other yards on rush attempts or kick returns, his 22,895 receiving yards would still rank him second place on the NFL's list all-purpose yard leaders (category based on combination of rushing, receiving, kick/punt return yards, and interception/fumble return yards).
He had a great work ethic and only missed 17 total games (14 of them game in one season when he tore his knee). He was listed at #2 in sporting news' greatest athletes. Only Jim Brown beat him for the #1 spot.

I'm not going to list all the NFL records Jerry Rice holds because it would take more space than we have here. I will just say that he is the greatest wide receiver of all time! His records and stats say it all and he will be a first time selection to the Football Hall of Fame. Nothing more needs to be said....

Jerry Rice. He was the complete package. Great route runner, very fast (in his prime), great hands and great vision. He also has countless records most notably TDs and most receptions ALL TIME. He was also a leader on and off the field and had impeccable work ethic. Nobody was and probably nobody will be better. Jerry Rice is tops.

All-Time would inarguably be Jerry Rice....however, the best active wide receiver is Roy Williams.

cant say all time best cause every era is different.it seems like people pick guys they grew up watching.some recievers had ok qbs that hurt em,some had great ones who made em better.talent wise jerry rice is the best so far,but he also had a couple pretty good qbs.then you have great recievers who hurt themselves no matter how good the qb was.moss,owens.cris carter(for a while).
