866 numbers are like 800 or 888 numbers. It is a free call. You have to pay only if you send a text message on your phone. IT DOESN'T COST A THING. I have voted every show, every season, and it NEVER shows on the phone bill.

It is a toll free number if you call on the land line, but will cost money when you text your vote (also depend on the plan you have with you mobil phone company).
