I need to debate in front of my class why medical experiments should not be preformed on animals. If anyone could give me some arguments or information I would appreicate it very much. I am having a hard time of thinking of a strong argument.

There are many arguements against such experiments. The problem is most people believe the benefits of these experiments outweigh the negatives.

There are several reasons. The biggest argument is that because animals are so different than humans, than the test results that will usually not apply to humans and the experiment was worthless. Thus, the cruel and torturous animal experiments were done for no reason.
But basically, testing is extremely painful. Imagine cutting off a Beagle's ear or cutting open a rabbit's stomache, all for results that most likely won't even be used.

The point of view will differ from a science and religious people,a scientist will use small animal for experiments.So far,we are enjoying a better life on earth thanks sacrifying small animals in laboratories. And religious people will reject doing it. Go to the Bible and look for help;it is very hard to oppose to the true word of God.
