It wouldn't matter to me. Of course there would be all kinds of rumors that the person was gay. I wouldn't care at all if they were. I would support the candidate who I thought was best.

Not sure it would matter, and I'm sure I'm being discriminatory by saying this, but I know I would look at them differently, esp. if they had never been married. And I don't think it's a gender thing either...I think women would be bothered by a man who had never been married just as men would be bothered by a woman who had never been married. It's the whole idea of wanting someone who can represent you, and if a person has never been married, you sort of get the impression that maybe they don't relate well to the opposite gender?

No. President Clinton was married and that didn't keep him from being a dog. There's no reason a single man or woman could do a great job.

i think i might like that more, you know women get in the way most time. No women, No problem. The president would be able to do what he wants with none of that women bull. you no what bull im talkin about.

no I would not think less of that person.I don;t think marriage should be the 'yardstick' so to speak ..for being a mature responsible leader..hello ..what's the divorce rate now?
