if so then the whole pro-life is gonna have to change. cuz if a 4 month old african baby can survive 4 months premature birth. then surely people have to rethink when a little fetus is considered alive or not. another question at what point does the baby have a soul. 9 months right?

Well I believe the moment the heart begins to beat.. it is a Human. If we all come from the womb.. we began from an egg and a sperm.. then the outcome is a human.. right? If a woman has a miscarriage after 20 wks.. the baby gets a death certificate and funeral can be preformed.. that is a 4 month old "fetus" baby. I will never in my life understand the Wade v. Roe.. because if in the end a human life is born.. The moment a woman is pregnant.. a soul is born, some make here and others can't. But when you take it without cause.. shouldn't be considered murder? It is just not fair!

There is a point during pregnancy I've heard referred to as "the quickening". It's at that point when many feel the fetus begins life on it's own. It begins to move about and hiccup and kick, etc. Exactly when that is I cannot say. I suppose for each case it's different. Others feel that the fetus is not "alive" until it's draws it's first breath. That's a bit late in my opinion but that's exactly the point, everyone has their own opinion.
If the child could conceivably live independent from it's mother then I guess that would be a strong indicator. But even that is opinion...
I do know that God is ultimately responsible and the fetus/child is His no matter how old it is or when life "begins".

As for Pro-life most abortion clinics will not perform an abortion beyond the first trimester. This little girl you speak of is a miracle beyond words. My daughter almost 14 yrs ago was the same miracle although statics show babies born as early as my daughter was and as this baby was do not survive and if they do they survive w life long problems they are alive at birth. And with medical advances and technology advancements it will soon become easier to maintain life support on babies born so premature. My daughter at birth was just under 12 inch's and weighed 1 pound 7 ounces and that was almost 14 yrs ago she wasn't expected to live and I applaud the team that took care of my daughter as well as the team that took care of this little girl.
P.S. Pro choice dont claim a baby isnt human they claim viability

The moment conception happened, a life was formed; a human life. Four months premature, one month premature or a six year old....all human, all have souls.

You are conceived with a soul, you just don't know it like you don't know where all your fingers toes and what have you are. You have to find it. That is my opinion.
As far as the fetus, well It is a baby the moment a woman conceives. That is what I beleive to be true.

I saw very disturbing images but they showed a 7 week old aborted baby compared to the size of a quarter (the quarter was bigger) and there was one baby sucking on its thumb, but they already have fingers, toes eyesockets. Peolpe need to be aware of what actually goes on with an abortion before they ever consider getting one. more sites.

well being a christian i would say that the second conception occurs that baby is really a peron and has a soul. god said he knit us in our mother's whomb and he knew us even before we were born so a 4 month old baby (in the whomb) has to have a soul, right? a baby is a baby no matter how small and they are people too. good luck with this!

I think it has a soul as soon as it is concieved, the heart developes and beats very early on, i saw my baby's heart beat at only 5 weeks pregnant.
