i have been friends with her since pre k and we are still friends, but i started hanging out with a different group of people sometimes cuz im not into all of the things she is. she just recently told me she got annoyed when i hung out with them. also, since a lot of those people are guys, she constantly says i like them and that i only hang out with them cuz i like them. it drives me crazy. i dont know if im the one with the problem or if she is! i just dont want our friendship to end. what should i do?

You, should be able to have more than just one friend, she should respect that, sounds like to me she has the problem, I think shes jealous, cause alot of them are guys, you need to talk to her and let her know that, on certain days you will be with her and on the other days you will be with them, and if she was any good friend she will understand and not have a problem with it and tell her that you do not want your friendship with her to end, that could also be another reason, shes feeling the way she does, maybe she thinks that shes going to lose you as a friend, since you been with this other crowd, just reassure her that that's not going to happen and maybe things will change.

The best thing to do is be perfectly honest. Have her over, don't do it over the phone or on a text message. Just tell her that you love being friends with her and hope to be friends forever but since you guys have gotten older your interests have changed and you're into different things now but that doesn't mean that you don't like her anymore. She's getting annoyed when you hang with them because she's jealous and she's afraid she's going to lose you as a friend. If she gets mad at you after you explain all of this to her then it is her problem because you tried to sit down and talk to her about it. Maybe you guys can come to an agreement that you can do some things with her still and other things with them. You're free to have as many friends as you want. Hope this helps.

maybe your friend has a point. are you becoming one of the guy crazed girls that she is getting annoyed with, and if so, is it really u? do you like being an only girl with all the guys, while your friend is somewhere else, or do you prefer being a true friend to your pre-k friend. just be who you originallty are, and whoever likes that person, that's the people/person you should be hanging out with. if both of them like the real you, then it will be easier to befriend both crowds at the same time. if neither do, which i'm positive wont happen, find friends who like you as you are. just make sure you dont change.

Refuse to be bullied by your friend, she sounds like a control freak. Friends don't dictate who you decide to befriend. I see why you started hanging out with a different group of people.

Man! I'm dicovering friends are ********* but, you have to live with them...so, I think she's the one with the problem. Maybe she wants guys around her too. Maybe you could introduce her to the hottest ones or something. I know how if feels to have someone hanging on you like that, hope it goes betta

1- just because you have guy friends doesn't mean you like them,how dare she accuse you of that
2- people can still be good friends with out hanging out with each other,just remember the good times you had with each other
3- it's completely normal for two friends to start having different interests, you two are still discovering who you are

Sounds like you guys are really young. well, just talk to her. ask her what is bothering her about you hanging out with another group of people. and tell her that if it really bothers her that much she can just hang out with those people, too. good luck :)

you should have a LONG talk with your friend sweety and you need to let her know that her issues with your other friends are getting annoying... but say it in a nice way... let her know that she's still your best friend but you have other friends also... and you need to let her know that just because you hang out with other guys doesn't mean that you like them... good luck!!! --<3always

well i think ur friends wants u to only hang with u. its great that u want to hang out with other people so i think that u could toke to ur friend and let her hang out with some friends that u made. i hope this will work

She is just very jealous of you. Try to include her with your new friends. If she is truly your friend she will accept you no matter what just don't forget about her.
