Haha I know nobody is gonna agree with my number 10. I think he is too under rated. many people are too quick to shove off George and the Beatles as just a pop band. But if you actually listen to a lot of their songs George's playing is very good and he also has some amazing solos. He also amassed an impressive solo career after the Beatles too.

Do you listen to metal much? Because there are some really amazing guitarists that play in metal. I mean seriously amazing. I like a lot of the people you listed.

Find a place in your list for Derek Truck (I think that's his name). I saw him play with Clapton last fall and he was incredible.
