Terrorists can't get in because they're a big bad illusion designed by the bush administration to scare the sh!t out of Americans so that they will support bullsh!t wars for profit and hand over their rights.

Accually, it's not easy anymore. There was an article in today's New York Times about how Immigrants are having much more trouble now. that's a good thing. However, they are determined because life is so bad for them in Mexico. That's a bad thing. we need to help mexico keep it's people there, it would help to solve the problem.
And it's accually simpler for terrorists to get in. they just fly in with legit documents and visa like the 9/11 hijackers did.

Negative, they have trouble... maybe like 20 or so a day might make it.... Believe me that's my job, im a border patrol agent...
Terrorist, I hope not... I don't even think that they will make it to Mexico... according to the Mexican immigration agents their systems are way more advance at their international airport.

Give me your poor, your tired and your hungry. A nice lady said that to your ancesters once. Too bad the border patrol and the resistance weren't there when your family hit the shores, I'm sure the Native Americans were complaining about the strain your ancesters were putting on their economy, resources etc. Before you, people owned this land, it was not up for the taking, it was stolen.

EXACTLY! the repubs have been in charge of the house, senate, and presidency for the past 6 years and NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING has been done by a single one of them to slow down or stop illegal immigration OR to secure our borders. WHY do we just keep electing the same old do nothing politicians in this country? WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose the big difference there is that the American intelligence is focused on the terrorist threat and not on Mexican immigration.

your facts seem a little exaggerated, but you make point nonetheless. border security has been way to lax for way to long and there is no way of telling who or what has come over our borders. we fixate on the illegal migrants, but i think the bigger problem is the possibility of someone or something harmful on a extremely large scale crossing the border.

Well if you want to believe that, however I think a border so porous would certainly make it easier to come into the country to do harm.
