There are published tools and techniques for the leaders and managers for motivatang others to achieve higher levels like examples of other managers through case histories, continous monitoring and guidance , open communication channels and reminding responsibilities towards the organization etc. Huge literature is available on these tools. however, certain medium term and long term tools which can work as motivators may also be tried. These may include open forums discussing case histories of similar business;introducing bonus linked enhanced productivity beyond the present levels; more attention towards the facilities and comforts of workers ; adoption of advanced technology along with thorough training of the workers and frequent reviews and monitoring of the status along with remedial measures for improving the production etc.
