Ah! very beautiful.
I want to show this to my husband. He does not express his love in those sweet words. At least, now he realises his fault.

Everyone that is except for me…
Why must we ask someone to love us?
Why can’t we tell of our love without fuss?
So I have rephrased the wordings thus: -
Now, when we are alive let me love you…
With a love that is sincere and forever true.
Do not wait until I am gone and you are alone
To have words that show the world you mourn
Chiseled in marble or etched on ice-cold stone.

I totally agree! That's why I tell my husband & children everyday that I love them. Nothing is sweeter & more precious that to hear the words "I Love You Too!"
