Poison will help get rid of them, if that doesn't work, then you need to get an exterminator to kill all of the bugs in your house.

I'm from the South, the Land that Cockroaches Love. I tried everything mentioned above plus one not mentioned: boric acid. I tried organic, bombs, a bug man, etc.

Here's some info that will help. Cockroaches live in the insulation of your home. Their egg sacs can lie dormant for up to 18 months without food or water. In one year, a momma and her babies can generate up to a million more babies. Keeping your kitchen clean helps, but these little SOBs could thrive in Martha Stewart's home.

Although I'm somewhat opposed to chemicals in my home, after 2 years, I had reached my limit. There is a roach-killer on the market called "Bengal". I would Liberally Spray every baseboard, outlet, light switch, cabinet, under the sink, around every window, the corners where the wall met the ceiling, the attic and basement especially (because of the moisture and privacy), around my computer (they lived inside).

I would saturate the cardboard of boxes stored in my closet, outside where the yard met the house, inside the sofa, inside ceiling lights, you name it. I went nuts like this for a year (me and the baby and the dogs would go to Granny's for 2 days). It was expensive but worth it. Also, the bug man told me they didn't like moving air, so every night in my kitchen, I set an oscillating fan.

After all this, I would occasionally see one or two, and I would grab the Bengal. But most of my problem was gone. I sure wish you Good Luck...

Had a very bad problem while living in a rental once due to the unknown fact of a broken sewer line under the house plus the previous tenants where slobs.
I went and bought a couple of bug bombs (don't remember the kind) and bombed the house then bought some COMBAT PLUS it comes with a gel & traps. Once I did that I never saw one again. I lived in a duplex so we did my neighbors house at the same time so the wouldn't transfer back & forth

If there is an infestation you must clean the house. Get rid of the egg cases. Get rid of the reason they are in your house. Trash, food, empty bottles, etc. You can use roach baits that you can purchase in grocery and hardware stores. They are usually the safest kind of poison. Foggers can knock down large numbers, and clean up after each fogging. It will take several times to get the eggs, which can not be killed by the fogging, and take up to 2 weeks to hatch. If they are coming in from next door or outside then you also need to treat around the outside of the house.

Cockroaches are one of the hardest insects to get rid of. That is why it is important to both clean up and make repairs in your home, and use cockroach poison. You will be less successful if you use only one of these methods.
Keep your kitchen as clean as you can so that cockroaches will not have the food and water they need to live.

Do not leave food out overnight. Put food in your refrigerator or in containers with tight lids.

Wash your dishes, pans, and utensils as soon as you are done using them.

Get all food off your counter tops and clean your counters, sink, and table with soapy water.

Do not leave pet food and water out overnight.

Put all garbage in closed plastic bags. Empty your garbage can often.

If cockroaches live in your toaster, clock, or boxes, you can kill them with cold air. Put the item in a plastic bag, close up the bag, and put the bag in a freezer. In winter, you could set the bag outside. Leave the bag in the cold for 5 days. After that, clean the item well before bringing it back into your home.

Fix plumbing leaks and other moisture problems.

Take out of your home piles of boxes, newspapers, and other items where cockroaches may hide.

Seal any small space (1/8" wide) where cockroaches may live including: spaces where plumbing or electrical wiring goes through walls, and cracks or spaces in walls around outlets, baseboards, and window sills.

Remove or repair any loose wallpaper.

Vacuum cockroaches. Then remove the bag from the vacuum, place the bag into a plastic garbage bag and seal it, and throw the bag away immediately.

When you move, don't take cockroaches with you. Use only boxes that come from places with no cockroaches. Pack during the day. Don't leave packed boxes in your home overnight. Watch for cockroaches in your new home. If you discover any, use cockroach poison right away.

Here are a few varieties you can use once you have cleaned up and fixed your home. Caution: Read all label directions carefully before buying insecticides and again before you apply them. Always follow label directions completely.

Sprays. These cans are labeled "for ants and roaches," and "for indoor use." Spray the insecticide along baseboards, around appliances, under sinks, and any other cracks and tight spaces where you have seen cockroaches in your home. Do not spray where you prepare or store food, or where young children play, crawl, or sleep, because the spray can make people sick. Also do not spray on your dishes, pans, and utensils.

Bait stations, which come in ready-to-use containers.

Boric Acid, which you can buy in a dust form and sprinkle in places your family will not disturb, like areas behind and under stoves, refrigerators, and sinks.

U need to hire a professional exterminator..They will have to come back for about three months because roaches lay eggs and just spraying will kill the live ones not the ones soon to hatch..

first you ask them kindly to leave if they refuse then you must hire a lawyer and have the lawyer file proper eviction paperwork to make it all legal like. Then call the exterminator to do the dirty deed of eviction
