I think Idol Would definitely Be More Boring without him.
I usually Like Celebrities that stand out on their own by going against the grain. I prefer people who arent neccesarily politically correct as opposed to listening to people who Only go around saying what everybody expects you to say.
I don't always Agree with Simon and Yes he Can be Harsh, But thats a Lot better Than Some Bland, scared, fraid to say what he really wants critic telling a William Hung something Like "Well William .... I Thought your singing Could have Sounded a Little Better.... But Keep TRYING.
and I'm Sure One Day Your Dreams will Come true :-)
YUCK!!!
Kudos To Simon.
Value Point? I'd Say Idol Has gotten Their Moneys Worth out of Him :-)
Although Randy and Paula Are Very Likeable they Could Easily Be replaced. If ya Notice Many of the Guest Judges Can do the Job as easily as Those Two But its always Simon Who Stands out.

I think he is just honest in his opinion. He is vital to the program, otherwise you would have Randy saying "dog, it just wasn't the right song" and Paula saying "you look beautiful but wrong song". Simon is harsh and they know they are going to hear it regardless of what the others say.
1-5 I say a 4.

Kind of - but Randy and Paula are adopting it, too.... I think it is all the way to a 5. Whenever you hear about American Idol (didn;t the girls rock tonight!!!) - you hear as much or more about Simon as the contestants....

I think so. As much as some people hate him (myself included) ... they can't seem to wait for the next show. Simon's only fault is that he's BRUTALLY honest . Like Judge Judy, something in their rudeness/honesty seems to attract others.

I hate Simon cowell and it does not add anything to the show. He makes me so angry how he comes at people. He thinks he is god or something.

Simon's rudeness/honesty is the key to the whole show. Without it the show would be crap. Actually it's crap anyway, but without Simon it would be crap that nobody watched.
