If it is too hot outside, that is global warming. If it is too cold, then that is a climate shift caused by global warming. If it rains, global warming. If it snows, global warming. If the sun shines too much, global warming. What perfect temperature does it have to be before hippies finally say that weather naturally flucuates daily and that it is just mother nature?

Countless scientific experiments have proved that Global Warming is taking place. The damage we have made is right now striking back at us; climate change is occurring before our eyes.

What they are pointing out are climatic irregularities. Years ago, there werent as many hurricanes. Years ago, winter and summer temperatures were more stable. How do you explain the record-breaking hurricane season of 2005?

Weather irregularities are part of Global Warming.

I think you should seriously inform yourself before you make such statements as "what perfect temperature does it have to be before hippies finally say that weather naturally fluctuates daily"...I think you're making a generalization. Not every person who believes in Global Warming is a hippie, and you do not see a news channel everyday blaming an occassional rain on Global Warming.

Watch "An Inconvenient Truth", watch The Discovery Channel, or read National Geographic to know what kind of evidence scientists have to make those statements.

Because daily fluctuations aren't the thing. It's the long term pattern.

There is a huge body of research supporting Global warming- but no scientists in Peer reviewed journals (the highest standard of research) have even doubted global warming and that it is caused by humans.

Even The White house has admitted it. And the bush controlled NOAA. And the EPA.

Who in the government still denies it and is still charged with environmental oversight?

*crickets*

Nobody. Can you guys not take a hint?

Oh wait, you don't listen to facts. Never mind.

Ohhhhhh, their just all filled with mushy poopy, that's their problem. Something to the affect of the 'cause' of global warming, wouldn't you say?? :>)

Globe has been warming for billions of years and cooling for billions.

I'm wondering if you recall that 9. something quake they had that stopped the Atomic Clock? Do you remember that? They had also said at the time, that the axis of the earth was affected by that. Geeee, could that have made a weather difference?? Why, of course it did. Silly scientists just want people to forget, but we are smarter than they give us credit for, aren't we?

Do you also remember when scientist predicted that we were going to get hit by an giant asteroid and cause a winter that we couldn't survive?? They were proved wrong then as well.

Ohhhhhhh well, just goes to show ya they should not count their chickens before they hatch, because they may just turn into rotten eggs with all the sweltering heat, ya know. :>)

That, my friend, is the ambiguity effect at its height. Many of these people are focusing on the avoidance of missing information, and therefore making this global warming deal seem a lot more serious than it really may be. Some base their evidence on biased and selective observation, as being selective is all a part of the human world. It is the same with you and I; we choose to lean towards the information that seems convenient to us, and they lean towards what seems convenient to them. But who is right? We don't know, only time will tell.

Since when are scientists hippies? If you look at the patterns in the weather the past few years, even decade, you will notice a huge difference in our climate. You can't just sit there and look at the now. You have to learn to see the big picture. You don't even have to be a scientist to recognize that our weather patterns have gotten more drastic.

wow the question shows that you are either the ignorant one or you are president Bush!

Weather patterns repalce one another and push each other away. Global Warming is a trend not an absolute temperature.

PS: Suck on an exhaust pipe if you are man enough to deny we are polluting and destroying a planet

Because they know what they are talking about, they do the research and we just hear about it , if something is not done about it. It will affect the future wish includes your children and your children children.

Mother nature is a ***** and warming her ***, so study up on and it and help with what ever you could to prevent it.

People who believe in global warming can be and are wrong about many things. But people who don't believe in global warming are always wrong.

I don't know... ask the scientists that say these things... I'm sure they would have a very detailed answer that probably neither your, nor I, would understand totally...

but on a side note... I don't see Republicans lining up anywhere to say they were wrong on anything either... and odds are, they've been wrong on a few things too...
