Just to further push one of the answers that the guy before left of fight club. I would go with any movie that edward norton has made. Fight Club, American History X, Primal Fear and the illusionist are all great movies. For something a little less serious but not a cheesy comedy try The score or the italian job. But my fav of his that is a comedy you might want to try is death to smoochie.
