I have a toshiba laptop and it has a lot of spyware and junk on it. i called tech support and they told me to use the recovery disk. i cant find it, andi was wondering if i could use a recovery disk for a different toshiba computer. does it have to be the same model/brand for it to work?

Take this from someone who has a Toshiba laptop also. I have the A105-S4064. YOU NEED THE SAME MODEL AND BRAND!!!!! If you had a S4064 my disc would work. Tell Me what your Toshiba model is and i'll help you out. Post it in details.

Recovery disks, 1 can work for multipule models, mine works for 2 models, my dads works for 4 models. It depends.

Usually, get toshiba to send you one, they shouldn't cost much...
