Also, is there a model you recommend?

I'm looking for a tank that is 30 and under.

I have never had a problem with mine. However I really don't care for the acrylic tanks. Even though they say they don't scratch, they do. They are lighter in weight (not enough to make much of a difference when filled and only 30 gallon).

Most of the tanks I have are from All-glass. The one tank I have is a SeaClear. (a 75 gal salt water bow front). Honestly, I prefer my Geneva Series bow front from all-glass. to me they just seem more durable. I've never had a tank from all glass leak and some of them are over 30 years old, have been moved, bumped etc.

I just feel safer with glass I guess. Old habits die hard!

SeaClear does work fine for salt water. Just be careful when scraping your front glass. Only use a sharp razor, no plastic. Non abrasive items only.

I have at least 2 that I can think of but both are used for freshwater. I really can't see why they would be anything but good for saltwater though. Seem to be a quality tank to me.

Thats what this type of tank is designed for.
There are no seams and it will not leak and it makes for ideal salt water use.
