No I wasn't. I was more of a nipple sucker and never really grew out of it....Is that wrong?

Nope, Never in my life! Even though I was the youngest...I was taught never to put my fingers in my mouth because I kept touching everything and that meant if I sucked my thumb, I would be eating bacteria...

My son is two years previous and nevertheless sucks his thumb while he's drained. we don't see something incorrect with it now, yet interior the subsequent year or so we are able to start attempting to go him removed from it if he would not start to provide up on his own. we've a bitterent nail polish the isn't the excellent tasting and we plan in using it to deter the thumb sucking. maximum young toddlers provide up around age 4-5 years previous, yet while they proceed then they are able to heavily shrink to rubble their tooth to no longer point out that is no longer some thing it rather is exactly praised previous a definite age. i won't be able to permit him be one among those little ones that maintains on for years like that.

no way! but i loved pacifiers!
my brother was also not a thumb-sucker but he was a pacifier addict - my parents had to arrange a ring of pacifiers around his head at night so when one dropped out of his mouth, he could just reach out (in his sleep!) and get one...and he did, otherwise he'd start crying.
