I'm not rich now and I am paid for my work as a paramedic. If I were rich, I would quit that job and volunteer as a paramedic. There is no work I've ever done that's more gratifying.

If I were rich I would work because I would like to have more of a life savings. So that way even if I did have a lot of money I could save some but spend more because I would have extra money that I had earned working. Also if I want to have kids I would want them to have some money for themselves after I die. Also, money doesn't last forever and I would not want to go from being rich and getting everything that I wanted to having no money, being broke and living in the street!

Rich as word has many shades. A person may be a popper but rich in heart. That is real richness. I have been to famine struck places where in people have been seen sharing a morsel with their pets although the food they have at hand is not sufficient to fill even a quarter of their belly.
And there are those rich in money who would see all with hate and disgust in their eyes. (Rich?)
Being rich and working has no correlation.

No probably not. I am not a lazy person what so ever, but if I could sleep in everyday, I'd do it! Cause right now I start work at 6 a.m. ugh!
...If I was rich, I'd spend it wisely... and stretch it out. I'd make it last, so I wouldn't have to work! I guess though it depends on what you do though... cause if it's something you love doing and enjoy, why not!? It'll give ya something to do and well, make your bank account bigger! :)

Yes, I would work still. It would be a job that I love. I would not only work b/c staying home would get boring, but I'd work to stay grounded and in touch with everyone who works for a living. I'd never want to get so lost in my riches that I could never relate to the person I was pre-wealth.

yes but not for someone else, only by my own terms and what i enjoy doing!! cause id go crazy not doing anything and i couldn't be the person who redecorates the living room 4 times a year and who gets new plastic body parts for fun!! haha some rich people are so f***ed up!!

Definately I would keep working!!! I manage a swimming pool and the joy to see the kids having fun is worth all the money in the world. I would probably spend a lot of my money on the kids in our area. I love "my kids" and I love my job. Money isn't everything--You can be rich in your heart and not have a penny to your name.

If I were rich I wouldn't work. Even thou I already don't work becuase I am a stay at home mom. I would be shopping all the time if I were rich.

No, I would put in a big swimming pool and heat it nice and warm and spend most of my time there. I would also have a condo in Maui where I could go if I got bored with my swimming pool. It would be good to be rich.
