its possible, but the problem is that we don't know exactly where Atlantis was (or is)... we can make guesses but we don't know for sure... but its quite possible that we have remnants of Atlantis

There are many remnants or artifacts that make archaeologists think. I think the best bet is the Mediterranean island of Santerini. They know it is a volcano that blew it's top about 3500 years ago in one of histories biggest explosions ever. The edge is now a ring of islands surrounding the submerged crater. The artifacts recently acquired has placed some supposed Roman innovations, (plumbing advances for one thing,) much farther back in the past. Look it up for more evidence that this was the fabled Atlantis.

Actually Plato also refered to the isle of Atlantis, and to its attempt to take over Athens. Plato's writing at many times refer to a perfect society, headed by a philosopher king. Some believe that he used the fictitious story of Atlantis to illustrate his philosophical points. However, the same belief was held on the city of Troy -- until it was discovered.

Plato's dialogues "point" to the existance.
The Bimini Wall "points" to the existance.
The island of Thera, a volcanic island, was destroyed around 1500 BC by an explosion which caused more than half of the island to sink into the sea. "points" to the existance.
Artifacts found on the island indicate a sophisticated culture, probably part of the Minoan Civilization.
There is evidence pointing to trade between the Minoans and Egyptians. The Egyptians would certainly have been aware of the destruction or at least the tremedous damage done to one of their trading partners.

Yes, but don't ask me where they are.For all we really know Atlantis really was a Mother Ship or USO as depicted in the science fiction show; Star Gate Atlantis. At this point I wouldn't be at all surprised.

No. No one can agree on where it was located so any "proof" would be disputed as well.
