I live in central Michigan and my dryer does just fine out in the garage. It's been ticking for 7 years now.

I don't live in MI, but Aldara does. I can't imagine the appliance being harmed as long as the garage is dry. The appliance is basically inert most of the time, and, no offense, it's a HEATER.

In fact it might even raise temps enough, when in operation, to make the garage a tolerable place to be without triple layers of clothing and gloves.

Beyond that, the garage, as long as the space is available is a great place to keep the Laundry Room, OUT of the interior of the house.
