Hi there Oliver S, I dont know whether these will shock you, but they are certainly some interesting facts:
During an hour's swimming at a municipal pool you will ingest 1/12 litre of urine.
In an average day your hands will have come into indirect contact with 15 penises (touching door handles etc.)
An average person's yearly fast food intake will contain 12 pubic hairs
In a year you will have swallowed 14 insects - while you slept!
Annually you will shake hands with 11 women who have recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.
Annually you will shake hands with 6 men who have recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.
In a lifetime 22 workmen will have examined the contents of your dirty linen basket.
At an average wedding reception you have a 1/100 chance of getting a cold sore from one of the guests.
Daily you will breathe in 1 litre of other peoples' anal gases.

AMAZING ELECTRONIC FACT: If you scuffed your feet long enough without touching anything, you would build up so many electrons that your finger would explode! But this is nothing to worry about, unless you have carpeting.
i was working on the shocking fact thing from two angles - one it is shocking and the other it is shocking!!!!

About 25 years ago I worked for a company in San Francisco and I hated my job, file clerk. It was boring. So, one day, I called in to the main number from my desk in the same office and said there was a bomb in the building. The whole building had to be evacuated. Heh, heh.

What you want to be shocked about? There ain't anything I've heard in a while that is shocking anymore, I think I've heard it all and seen it too.
I will shock you about your toothbrush though, did you know that when you leave your toothbrush in the bathroom everytime you fluch the loo little particles of poo travel and lie on the toothbrush!!

Sexual abuse occurs with medical professionals more than you would suspect. In my town a doctor was forced to retire early or risk losing his license. He had too many lawsuits to continue to practice. All of his victims were female and he was the psychiatrist who conveniently over prescribed meds., and would then fondle them while they were in for a "session."

Alright here's one. Yes you were right, about that thing that happened that time. Even though nobody will ever let you know. Infact the Universe shifted at that moment to confuse you just becuase it thought you were starting to figure it out.

Dick Cheney actually died 8 years ago, but they've been using an experimental drug to keep him animated! Sad thing is - they had to take out his heart for the drug to work!
