sad, but no more so than those of much-less-publicized people who in many cases contributed many more positive things to the world. the real tragedy is that it's getting this much attention, shows where our priorities are

A tragedy is a real-world event with a sad outcome.

The death of Anna Nicole Smith is a real-world event with a sad outcome. Sad for her family who has been thrust into the frenzy of exposure from the media. Sad for her new-born daughter, through no fault of her own, will be subjected to a media circus; probably for the rest of her life.

Tragedy? It is the best thing on TV in many years. She was in her own fantasy world and this Stern character is evil. I hope they give the body to the real father the photographer and he will bury her in California. This is fabulous stuff.

you're right, it was a tragedy. but hasn't anyone stopped to think that it was the fault of howard k stern? i mean, he was there the day daniel died, and he was there the day anna died. anybody see what i'm saying here? i think he was waiting for daniel to die, so he can get rid of anna, so he can let dannilyn inherit her fortune, so he can take total control of her like he did to anna.

I think the judge is star struck or he would have let her go home with Howard K. to be buried next to her son as she wanted . He should be taken off this case -letting her body rot- while he lets her own mother trash her memory and get paid for doing so . What was the Guardian ad Litem for - if his advice on protecting the baby's memory of her mom in this court is ignored by the judge ?

I wouldn't define it as a tragedy, more an untimely death. don't really have to much thought on the topic, just wish the news would quit covering it. Its kinda old now and i really don't care who the kid's father is. apparently it could be half of hollywood.

Terribly sad. I'm also very suspicious that Howard killed her. (And her son.) Both of them dying...very weird. And if he loves "his baby" so much, then why is he laughing at 8 months pregnant Anna obviously tripping out on something in that video he's taking? There's something not right there...

i think she would of lived to be an old woman if she had left the dope alone. her death was self inflicted.
