I've known this guy almost the entire school year and we've liked eachother for sometime. Once I told him that I was pregnant, he just backed off and told me that he didn't want to deal with me and my problems. It's not just him. It's some of my other guy friends as well. They don't talk to me, or even look at me. It's like I have a disease. It sucks. I'm usually really close to all my friends. I think it might be the fact that they all know my ex, which is the baby's father. It's not fair. I may be changing but I still deserve my respect

Blame it on sophomoric immaturity.

When I was about 14 I used to be uncomfortable around pregnant women because I had just begun to learn how that happens and it was a bit embarrassing. But as I matured and came to appreciate the miracle of life, I began to catch myself smiling at pregnant women as I realized there was a precious little human growing in there. Your friends are probably a bit like I was at that age. Also, they might be showing some negative judgment toward you. They subconsciously know you should not have gotten pregnant while you are still so young and in school. There are lots of methods of birth control and even abstinence. But, maybe you had a boyfriend who was a jerk and didn't take no as an answer.
At any rate, the ones who turn away from now are not true friends and it is a hard lesson to learn so young.
I hope all goes well for you. See to it you get good care for yourself and the baby.

Best of luck...

You shouldn't of gotten pregnant in the first place. But I'm not here to treat you like you're four, so we'll move on.

The thing is is that when a girl gets pregnant at an early age, and people find out that it's from another guy, especially when they really like that girl, then it sends conflicting emotions. I mean for one he's probably asked himself a thousand times why you went back to him to have 'fun' when he thought that you liked him a lot and was probably expecting a little more then friendship. And so he's probably thinking you're cheap and easy and since guys talk then the news spread. Then others hear and want nothing to do with you as well. You just, basically, damned yourself.

Have you ever thought about what your ex could have told them
about you? Well, if the guys are staying away from you,it can't
be good. Well anyways.. You don't need them. Give yourself all
the credit because you are having your baby with or without
him. Show him and the guys how well you can do without any
of them. Good Luck.. After all you are not the first or the last
girl to have a baby without the daddy by your side.

Well, just be glad that one you start to show, you'll have to attend a different school. Guys, especially school age guys don't want to get stuck with the responsibilities that come with pregnancy. You, on the other hand are stuck with them and should be worried about the future of yourself, and your child. To hell with everybody else.

Well, if you are in high school, prenancy isn't the norm.

Young guys might think you are fragile.

They are not sure how to treat you.
