Well anonymous that is unusual. But I am here to help not judge.

If you trot down to the pharmacy and get some hemmorhoid creme and apply it liberally the bruising will clear up very quickly.

It is excellent for dark circles and veins under the eyes as well as bruising. Keep up the applications until the bruise fades ..24 hrs or so and then just use cover up to hide the residue. If I were you I would avoid the airbag entirely in future, there re many more cars on the street!

A restraining order!!! LOL I'm sorry but, airbags?? OK, I'll buy it, but the only thing you can do is take Motrin, and put ice in baggies and seal it, then put them in a sock (so it wont' be so cold), and lie down, put them on your face for 20 minutes every few hours if they are fresh. If not, you're gonna have to live with it, and I would NOT recommend wearing makeup to try and hide it. It usually draws more attention. There's really no way to put a compression bandage on your face, so just rest, but elevate the head of your bed with pillows under the mattress and sleep on your back with pillows propping you up to decrease the fluid buildup. Other than that, you just have to wait. Good luck, hon, and be glad you're alive because of those airbags, possibly!!

Take vitamin C with rose hips & bioflavanoids. It strengthens the capillary walls & speeds the recovery of bruises. Also, enzymes taken on an empty stomach help reduce pain & inflammation. Cool compresses help alleviate pain, too.
My airbag deployed on my face last year, taking the skin off my nose & leaving my mouth with a WICKED taste.

Bromelain is found in pineapples and will reduce healing time. I hope you are telling the truth that you were in a car wreck. If instead this was someone abusing you please get help. Call the Nation Domestic Violence Hotline (they are really great) 1-800-799-7233. If he is still around then do it from a payphone. I am a survivor of domestic violence and you can be too.

Go to a Health food store and get a tube of Anica Gel, it will help to get rid of the bruises quicker. Your drug store might carry it in the Homoeopathic Section if they have one.

Go to your doctor and see what he prescribes. Some medicines can actually lessen the amount of time your bruise is appearable.

ice will help with the swelling (try bags of frozen peas), but for the bruising I'm afraid it's going to take time. You can try covering it with makeup but it will only do so much.
