Jim Thome on your bench is the biggest mistake you've ever made...
improve your closers and your team is probably in the 8 - 8.5 range..
right now as a team i give u a 7 - 7.5, but as a manager i give u a zero until Thome gets into that lineup... (util)

I'm going to have to give a 5.5. Sorry, but its honest. you probably wont select best answer because its not what you want to hear. if i wanted to be the best answer i would have said 10 and BS-ed it. ORtiz, cano,, and cano are great. carpenter and mussina were also great. varitek is shaky due to injury. andruw jones looks fantastic, but you have to hate his batting average. baldelli has a lot to prove and taveras doesnt do anything but steal. edmonds is an OK pick. used to be great, but didnt look anything like that last year. lowell just gets doubles, which dont count in most leagues. you should start laroche and thome instead. loretta and aurilia better have been your last picks. dempster will be fine w/ run support. wheeler isnt good enough. papelbon hasnt proven himself as a starter. trade probably will be vetoed. i really dislike ur reserve pitchers and ur outfield other than jones.

Depending on the format, I would give you between either a 6 or a 7.

If this is a points league, it doesn't like you have too much dead weight on your roster. Outside of Jones, none of your outfielders is capable of a breakout season. I also think you invested a lot in older players who are either have already started to decline or could possibly this year - Edmonds, Lowell, Thome, Lorreta, Aurila, Mussina.

If this is a Roto league, I would be a little concerned with Dempster and Wheeler as your closers and also the lack of speed and run scoring. Outside of Taveras (if he can get on base), nobody stands out on your roster as a big base stealing threat. Cano is really the only player I see getting on base and being driven in to score a lot of runs. If you can get Reyes, I would up your team to a 7 or 8.

I'll give you an 8 if you move Thome and LaRoche to Util. And that trade is a 10. I don't know how you pulled that off but that will defiantly catapult your team into the top 3 easy. just watch your injuries and look for other blockbusters that you can make during the season.

Also, that trade you are doing will definately get vetoed. Why that person would accept that proposal is beyond explanation. Reyes is a round 1 pick and clemens and sanchez are are middle of the draft picks.
