Make sure you get a lot of rest when you can and don't do anything too strenuous. Eat lots of iron-rich foods and make sure you have a well-balanced diet, even if you don't feel like eating. Sometimes when I get anemic I lose my appetite which makes me even more anemic by not getting enough nutrients. I find that vitamin water can give me a little extra energy too when i'm feeling really badly. Hope I helped!

Hopefully you are on iron pills. They do help, but it takes some time. I started taking SAM-e and it really helped with the fatigue (you still have to take the iron pills it's not for the anemia it's for the fatigue) It is available without a prescription. I got mine at the recommendation of my doctor. I bought pharmaceutical grade at GNC. But it can be picked up at like Walgreen's etc. People in Europe have been using it for like 20 years.

Fatigue can have a number of causes.
The most obvious is lack of energy for your body to burn. In which case you should eat more, specially more protein and complex carbs (best source is whole grains and vegetables).
Another one is lack of Potassium, which can be easily controlled by salting your food with Potassium salt, rather than Sodium salt.
Another source is thyroid problems, which can be solved by visiting your doctor and making a simple T3-T4 blood test. If positive he will recommend pills of thyroid hormone, which will balance you out if it is lacking.

If you are anemic you should be on some Iron therapy pills. You should talk to your Doctor. I was close to being anemic too and now I take Iron and eat foods rich in Iron and I am doing great.
Hope this helps, good luck.

See your Dr. Tell him/her how you feel and they may priscribe some iron or medication, as there must be some underlying reason for your anemia. Have the Dr check your blood.

i'm in the same boat try taking or increasing your Iron, or talk to your doctor about a blood transfusion, talk to your doctor at anyrate and seek god as he's in charge of everything from hangnails to headaches, and take it easy only do as much as you feel up to try energy bars or 1-2 cups of coffee perday
