I would like to earn a degree in computer science as well as in another field generally considered liberal arts. Any suggestions?

Most colleges offer a good education in liberal arts as there are several courses required in a broad selection as part of your bachelors degree. I recommend you make an appointment to meet with an academic advisor in Student Services and discuss your program of studies. They are very helpful and their services are free.

You will want to look at how the college offers computer science. Some treat it as a major and/or minor; others do not acknowledge college credit unless it meets certain criteria. Again, an advisor will help you decide what courses you need to take.

Best wishes.

Why waste your time with a second Bachelors degree when you can get a Masters in Computer Science in about 3 years? You don't necessarily need to have a BS in computer science, however, you may need to take some prerequisite classes as part of your program of study. I had to do this when I switched from one department for my Masters degree to a different one for my Doctorate. You will be much more marketable with a BS in Psych and an MS in Comp Sci and you will be able to earn more money. Good luck!
