Generally the thing that can make me cry, which I do not do offen do, Is a movie scene where a life-defining moment takes place. In "Tuck Everlasting" When Angus Took tells Winnie that life is like a river and never stops running, that she is in that river and is part of the cycle of life, but that him and his family are like rocks and will stay there forever, never living, always being. Or when in "Titanic" were the girl stays with the boy because she loves him so much. It's just things like that, the things that really make me think, make me cry like a leaky fosscet.

I used to cry all the time, but I think I control my emotions a lot better now (pushing 30 now, as opposed to how I was in my late teens and early twenties) I cried a lot when my dad died. Sometimes a movie or touching documentary will get me misty eyed, but only when I am pre-menstrual and not every month.

People cry, the tough ones just don't show it publicly. Let me rephrase that. The ones who were taught its not ok to cry in any situation don't show their crying publicly. I feel bad for those who don't cry when needed. Its such a stress reliever. Perhaps, those who were taught crying is for babies, have a higher risk of heart problems and high blood pressure.
