I don't want you guys to do an essay or anything... I just need some extra information about comparison/contrast about Americans/Europeons. I need similarities and differences on the two places about casulties,weapons, and uniforms... other information about comparing/comtrasting the two areas would be great... thanks a bunch. again, I am not looking for someone to do an essay, just some ideas and information. thanks!

Many recruits to the American army could already use a rifle, indeed sometimes better than their instructors. There would be scarcely any British recruits with such experience. Some upper-class ones would have used a shotgun against game birds, and a very few of the richest would have used a rifle against stags, but of course recruits like these would become officers. Virtually all of the enlisted men would be starting their firearms training from scratch.
