i want to buy a new game system and dont know what to get

Il start off saying.. it depends what your looking for in games. Some companies will make them for all systems, yet it really is about what your into as well.
Ill say Wii because its a year younger and has more technology into it than the xbox does. also, you didnt SPECIFY it as the xbox 360, though it still beats it in all areas except games because its been out longer. A Wii will maintain it's value longer and you can always sell it later for a older 360 if you dont like it. ;)

The Xbox 360 so far has shown a spectacular lineup of video games, ranging from Gears of War to Call of Duty 3.
Not to mention, as of now, Xbox Live is still ranked the best online multiplayer experience a person can get, with a price though.
However, the 360 has strong backing by many publisher's, something that the Wii has yet to obtain (Grand Theft Auto anybody?)
The Wii is good, and I know that it will get better, but, I have a feeling that the 360 will trump it accordingly to content, and not by the new "gaming experience" that Nintendo touts.
So far, content has been proven to be a better option for many gamers than a new gaming experience.

well if you want to swing around a controller then go with the wii but if your like me and the couch gamer looking for power and graphics then i would go with the 360. One of the best innovative features about the 360 is being able to turn off the console with a push of a button so cool. The 360 has the best operating system this generation and you can also customize it. I almost forgot you can even play your music while playing a game and and you can chat and diffrent stuff while in a game.

THE WII SUCKS!!!!!
its a liitlle kiddie game. the controller is hard to controll. the graphics are worse the PS2.
personnally, id reccomend the Playstation 3
but the xbox is a decent console. ANYTHING BUT THE WII!!!!

Depends on what you like. If u like shooting don't get the wii. If you like interactiveness get the wii. I think Basketball games are bad on the wii also, but that's just a rumor. Give me 10 pts. if it helps.

wii and xbox 360 are both awesome. wii's cheaper, more interactive, and has those Nintendo character games like Mario. but the xbox360 has sweet online features, and awesome shooting games
