Many times....Gulf side and Atlantic side. And I agree with you. It is paradise and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Yeah, lived here ALL my life. BOrn and raised in the Tampa Bay area, and I dont consider it paradise. Ive been to beaches out in California, Australia, NZ, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Spain, France and etc and I honestly think those places really have amazing beaches! The only thing I can give credit with in Florida is the sand. But a lot of it is imported from other places.
Im sure some are nice, havent been to all the beaches, but I've been to better places around the world which have impressed me more so than Florida...

I have lived in Florida for the majority of my life. I LOVE the Florida Keys, Key West, best diving in the US, beautiful reefs and deep sea fishing, I prefer Marathon Florida because the people aren't stacked on top of each other. Most homes in Marathon have a dock for your boat or you can dive right in the water with a net and a tickle stick and bring up Lobster for dinner. All you need is a stick of butter and a pot of boiling water. St. Petersburg, Florida has beautiful beaches, but is a large retirement area, the weather is perfect, not extremely hot and never freezes. New Smyrna Beach nest to Daytona is a sleepy little beach town with a very nice beach. Panama City Beach is a resort in the Florida Panhandle, known as the Red Neck Riviere, but business dies down in the winter and it freezes there, a little to cold for this Southern girl.

I actually lived in Satellite Beach Florida, a few miles from Cocoa Beach, for most of my life. I love it here!! It is paradise. I now live in Rockledge Florida, and I am 5 minutes from the beach. Its heaven!

Yes and have lived a half block from the beach and loved it. Miss the beaches now.
